The event is done in four straight days with numerous events like dance, music, theater, artistry, and different sports event. With the aim to give the local associations and clubs in Copenhagen the chance to showcase what they got to show to the public, the Cultural Harbour is also free of charge for all its spectators.</p>
<p>Getting to the festival area is much easier if you will take the public transport because parking is limited in areas close to Havneparken, Islands Brygge. A free boat shuttle is also offered between Island Brygge and Kalvebod Brygge. This festival is open for all ages and registration in accommodated online. During the event, audience will get to witness Denmark’s longest line dance event, numerous sports events like gymnaetics, taekwandoo, some water events like the kayak polo, big splash, children’s activities and a whole lot more.</p>
<p>When joining or witnessing the event, one will never have to worry about transportation, as public transport is available. Island Brygge Havnepark has two outdoor cafes, which are located at Verdenskulturplænen and between Den Store Plæne and Den Maritime Plæne. There is also this bar located next to Multiscenen that serves beer, water, and wine. To those who are at the Kalvebod Brygge will surely enjoy their hot and cold drinks, lunch, dishes, salads, and more at the Café IDAbryggen, and Copenhagen Island Hotel.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When visiting Denmark, it will never be a complete vacation without visiting the Rosenborg Castle that houses the Royal Danish Collections. Aside from housing numerous of Denmark’s greatest cultural treasures like the Crown Jewels and the Danish Crown Regalia, the castle itself is a beautiful historic building.</p>
<p>The castle opens at 11 in the morning and closes at different time for different holidays and occasions. Children who are 17 years old and below are free while adults are charged 70 kr. Group discounts are also applied to a minimum of 12 people and they are charged at the discounted amount of 55 kr. per person. Students and seniors are charged at 45 kr. while photo permission is at 20 kr.</p>
<p>Guided tours to the castle are also available in Danish and will last for approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours. If you want to avail of this offer, booking t weeks ahead is required.</p>
<p>Since its acquisition is 1976, Rosenborg continues to grow and when H.R.H. Prince Henrik was became chairman of the board, the collections grew to over 3,000 objects.</p>
<p>Everyone will also get the chance to purchase his or her desired items at the Museum Shop, which is located opposite to the ticket office in the Gate House. The shop sells numerous items like silk scarf, Christian IV’s tablecloth, prayer book, tray, Queen Anna Sophie’s Playing Cards, Frederik II Tie, Tie Christian IV, Paper Dolls, Christian IV and Kirsten Munk, and many more.</p>
<p>Dining at the castle will never be a problem, as packed launches are allowed to be eaten at the covered tables at Traktorstedet café and restaurant. Getting into the restaurant does not require the guests to purchase tickets to the Rosenborg. They have the same opening hours like the castle and accept groups of 15-30 people after the opening hours.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Visit Denmark every 2<sup>nd</sup> week of August each year and you will witness Denmark’s Most Festival, the Smukfest Festival. This fun music festival of Denmark started out its early beginning in 1980 hosted by the Skanderborg Festival Club. The festival is not obliged to gain profits though but in case they have extra income, they are supporting the local music and cultural life in the area of Skanderborg, which resulted into many huge concerts and state of the art rehearsal facilities for their homegrown musicians.</p>
<p>When the Smukfest Festival started in 1980, they have 7 bands performing in front of the 600 crowds. With their 21 volunteer that time, the festival has generated a turnover of 14,000 Danish Kroner. In just a span of 30 years, Smukfest Festival is now Denmark’s second largest festival. In 2008, the festival has 180 performing artists in front of its 45,000 audience. The 21 volunteers at the start has suddenly grown into 10,500 and got the impressive turnover of DKK 100million.</p>
<p>The 2007 festival has consumed 150,000 liters of draught beer, 130,000 bottles of Thor, a Danish beer, 75,000 liters of spring water, 7,000 bottles of vodka, and 3 crates of Faxe Free.</p>
<p>The festival in held in a forest environment with numerous festival sites and green plants around. Tickets are sold online. Children below 7 years old are free but must have at least an adult to accompany. Kids 7 to 14 years old must pay the children’s price while 14 years and above will pay the regular ticket price. The festival have free tentcamp around however this year, Can Sleeps will already be available. The place also have a local pharmacy, stalls that sell foods from all around the globe, visa cash dispensers, a shuttle bus that will take the audience to and from one festival area to another.</p>
<p>Going to and from Smukfest Festival can be easily done through train or bus.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Visit Copenhagen between September and October each year and you will surely witness the weeklong fun and merry festival called the Copenhagen Blues Festival. The festival that started in 2001 has the aim to widen the knowledge of blues and related genre of music all over Copenhagen region as well as to promote their interest in the said genre. Each year, the organization behind the Copenhagen Blues Festival is in cooperation with 18-20 venues all over the city. They are trying to present about 60 blues concerts from different performers from Scandinavia, Denmark, and even international blues artists.</p>
<p>This year, the festival is happening from September 30 to October 4, 2009. This year’s five days festival has the theme of CHICAGO BLUES. The five-day event is full of nothing but blues concerts from known local and international blues artists including Eddy Clearwater, Thorbjorn Risager Band and a whole lot more. In addition, the festival will also be holding 10 short, free afternoon blues concerts at the main stage, which is at the Festplads.</p>
<p>There will also be a Gospel concert during the festival week and for this year’s concert, the Ladies Sing the Blues will be transforming into Ladies Sing the Gospel and will be presenting and performing at the Christian’s Church. This Sunday event is perfect for families to hang out and have some fun with their kids and partner. Another Sunday event includes the Blues sermon at the Grundtvigs Church, which features Troels Jensen, H.P. Lange og Jarno Varsted, and Blues brunch at Pilegardens at 11 am.</p>
<p>Aside from the great performances that entertain audiences from all over the world, the festival also has their blues awards that are already have been awarded to numerous recipients. This year’s festival will feature Duck and Cover at Bartof, Poorboy Poul and Thorbjorn Risager at Roedovre, and the Roots Jam at Mojo as closing performances of the Blues Copenhagen Festival 2009.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Happening every three years, ASSITEJ Denmark together with ASSITEJ Sweden will be hosting the 2011 festival in Copenhagen Denmark. This 10-days extraordinary event will be happening on May 20-29, 2011, which involves performers and spectators from all ages and from all corners of the world. The congress has the aim to connect people with different cultures, ages, and practices. They also aims to get the theater for children and young people recognize, improve the condition of theater for children and young people from all over the world, improve common knowledge for theater, get the people acquainted with the work of their colleagues from other countries.</p>
<p>Visitors and tourists from all over the world will surely enjoy the festival as it presents numerous events from cultural shows to live theater shows to puppetry, circus, theater dance and more. Spectators of the said event old and new will surely be glad with the 2011 festival because for the first time in history, the event will simultaneously take place in two cities.</p>
<p>Aside from the shows and presentations, other events will also take place during the whole congress, which include seminars, workshops, master classes, lectures, readings, discussion forums, and more. Covering 8 ½ hectares of land, he Aalborg Zoo is one of the largest provincial attractions in Denmark catering an average of 375,000 annually. Housing more than 1,200 animals of about 138 species, the Aalborg Zoo has the main purpose of preserving nature particularly the endangered animals.</p>
<p>Aside from the live animals that the tourists will enjoy while in the Zoo, they can also bring home with them their favorite zoo animal through the zoo’s Zoo Shop that sells numerous items including stuffed toys. The shop has always something new to offer, that is why it is advisable to visit the shop when visiting the Zoo.</p>
<p>Aside from touring around the zoo and interacting with the animals, the Aalborg Zoo is also holding various events for their guests including the children’s party, keeper of the day, tour of the zoo, rent the zoo for a day, and rent the zoo’s auditorium.</p>
<p>Holding a children’s birthday requires and minimum of 10 children of 5-11 years old and will last for 1 ½ to 2 hours. The celebration includes the children to help feed the animals, getting close to the animals in school service, and finding treasures at the zoo. There are three menus to choose from and each menu already includes a lemonade or soft drink.</p>
<p>The Keeper of the Day on the other will let the guests feel the animals of their choice and will last from 9am to 3pm. This activity is allowed for guests from 12 years old.</p>
<p>Those who wanted to experience the zoo by themselves, they can also rent the zoo for the day and the keeper will make sure that you will have a remarkable experience. One can also rent the auditorium with facilities for their events.</p>
<p>The zoo opens at 9am in most days and closes differently.</p>

Tourists can even shop the items they want like souvenir items from the shopping centers onsite. Dining at the park will never be a problem with the numerous dining places that offers only delicious and sumptuous foods that will surely fill in your hungry tummy.<br />
Legoland has so many rides that are truly worth riding. Rides include the Frog Hopper, which is the newest in Legoland. This tummy-tickling ride will definitely make your children who are between 90-150cm’s visits to the Legoland a remarkable one.<br />
They also have the Miniland that will let your kids live like being in the real world in miniature. Let them witness the world’s famous building all built of 20 million LEGO bricks.<br />
The Park also has the Lego Safari that will let the kids enjoy a fun ride in a zebra-striped jeep traveling with the wild LEGO animal and make them feel like being on the African savannah. Parents must be aware that they must accompany their kids who are 90 cm.<br />
Parents and kids alike will definitely love the shopping centers that the Legoland has. Shopping for lego bricks has never been easy with the Legoland’s brick shop. Getting into Denmark’s Legoland Billund is easy and can be reached by car, bus, train, plane, and ferry.<br />
Visiting Legoland Billund is very comfortable with everybody. They have the Babycare Center, Banks, ATM machines, Drying Machines, Luggage Lockers, Pushchairs, Telephones, Toilets, and more. Smoking is even aloud outdoor but not on rides.</p>

The wild ones include The Golden Tower, The Demon, The Star Flyer and more. Fun rides include the bumper cars, Ferris wheel, and more. Rides for your lovely kids on the other hand include the big clock, Chinese lantern, little pilot and more.<br />
Tivoli Gardens opens at 11 in most days and closes differently. There are days that they closes at 23, some at 24 while sometimes the garden closes at 00.30.<br />
When in Tivoli tickets for admission and rides are sold differently. Tickets for rides are available in two forms that include the Turpas or the Multi-ride ticket and the Turbillet or the Ride ticket. The Turpas allows the visitors to use as many rides as they wish to, while the Turbillet ticket on the other hand is only available for use only for a single ride. Tickets for events and entertainment are also sold separately. One can book their events ticket at Tivoli’s Ticket center or have them booked over the phone or online.<br />
Visiting Tivoli with big bags and little angels will never be a problem because the garden has lockers and baby changing diapers in all their three entrances. Tivoli even has the room with free diapers and nappies for the mommies to comfortably change their baby’s diapers. The room even has a microwave to warm a bottle.<br />
